New Artist

Well, I haven't been here in a while. Have not had much free time. I was checking out one of my favorite art websites today (Wetcanvas) where artists can share work and get critiques and learn techniques (ha ha that rhymes!)....anyway, I ran across this one oil artist who has posted in the decorative arts forum, Annie Howell Adams. You must check out her work. I absolutely love the way she is using her oils on panels to create a large fishing mural. Her technique is so cool! It's very painterly and colorful and I like that. She said she considers herself a colorist - which is so true. She is based in San Juan and paints alot from life, based on what I've seen on her website.
